About me

My primary focus is on transfusion medicine. In this role, I provide blood transfusions for patients who have suffered significant blood loss. I also perform apheresis, which is a process that removes a specific part of a patient’s blood and returns the rest of the blood to the patient.

The work I do supports the work of many other providers and clinical teams. It also allows me to work directly with patients, their families, and blood donors. The procedures I perform often take time. This gives me the chance to get to know our patients, learn about their lives, and help them to understand their disease and treatment options.

My goal is always to improve the lives of my patients, even when it means simply helping patients not become sicker so that they can receive other treatments. There is nothing more rewarding than returning our patients to a high quality of life.
